FIFO Ma8
The FIFO Ma8 Program officially kicks off in 2026. With an emphasis on minimising the risk of psychosocial hazards within your workforce, helping to build resilience, awareness and to support leaders to lead with compassion but true understanding of psychosocial hazards but feel supported in the process.
KEY objective:To support workers, strengthen industries & keep mates Safe.Targeting:Employees and teams who Fly In, Fly Out, Drive in, Drive out, or those who Move About (such as Train drivers, construction workers, council workers, tradies who work on different locations all the time, or workers who work in isolated locations). This program supports both the travelling employees and their colleagues supporting from the one location.Length of program:This is a long term program, with the view of employees covering off the initially training over 12 months and then continuing to do the regular bi-monthly or quarterly training for the following 2 years, until Refresher training is due at their 3rd year.This will repeat building a culture and safe space for Organisations and their teams.The FIFO Ma8 training includes:
Mental Health First Aid training Resilience First Aid Responder Training Fatigue Management Training Peer Support Sessions (quarterly or Bi-monthly sessions)The training dates will be supplied for Businesses based in the Hunter, wishing to send employees at various times to attend in any of the available public dates shared or the training can be delivered in house.
